Memento Vivere encrypts and decrypts the contents of your rooms exclusively on your own device, using your master password. Dia Amadores S.R.L. does not possess, does not store, and has no way of accessing your decryption keys.
No recovery is possible: if you lose your master password, content encrypted with it cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. There is no recovery procedure, because no copy of the password is stored anywhere — that is exactly what makes the encryption genuine.
By using the app, you acknowledge and accept sole responsibility for safeguarding your login credentials and master password, releasing Dia Amadores S.R.L. from any liability for permanent data loss resulting from their loss.
Nature of the service
Memento Vivere is a tool for safekeeping and delivering encrypted digital content, not a notarial, legal or fiduciary service in the formal legal sense. The service has no legal value as a substitute for a will, power of attorney, or other formal legal instrument, and does not guarantee delivery within a certain time in every circumstance, including causes beyond our reasonable control (e.g. network outages, force majeure).
The trustee's role
The trustee designated by the user performs a human verification role before content is delivered to beneficiaries. Dia Amadores S.R.L. is not a party to this personal relationship of trust and is not liable for decisions made by the trustee in exercising this role.
Payments and subscriptions
Purchases and refunds relating to the Premium plan are subject to the Terms of Service of Paddle.com Market Ltd, which handles transactions as an authorized reseller (merchant of record) on behalf of Dia Amadores S.R.L.
